from p. 1 & 4 on Mon., 4/16

That's how I felt,
right then and there.

Again,
here you are
buzzing in my brain.

-----

Cigarette ash &
late night ice
cream.

Colfax Avenue
on a sunset
afternoon.

-----

The city towers like a giant,
and graffiti decorates it like
jewelery.

-----

Resting in a green hill,
in the company of rolling
children and laughter,

Botanics and floating pollen
surround me,

And the koi whispering
beneath,

All servants to an orange
English light.

-----

Ruthless,
my style as a juvenile.
Never listen to my mother,
went in one ear and out the other.
It's my nature I gotta curse,
Sneakin' out the window know what
I want front and center and don't get caught
slippin' existing the entrance.
