graffiti images from Mon., 3/18

found burnt with a torch onto the side of a train
bound for Antarctica:

Hello penguins.
How is life
with no ants around?

-----

found written with UV ink on the side of a train
bound for "that one place you know you've been
before, but just can't quite remember."

If this isn't where you're meant to go
or what you're meant to see,
look up, open your eyes
to who you're mean to be.

-----

found written with spray paint on a train
bound for Hawai'i

Let the ocean
take you away
where coconuts fall
and sea fish brawl,
tides a-turning,
and surfers a-surfing,
only play,
only fun,
live in the moment.

-----`

found written with a "jacked-up old spray
paint, half wiped/cracked off."

Home is never a place.
It is never an address--
it is a 1 second
memory.
It is the forgotten
laughter. It si the
tears shed.
Home isn't a place
with an address.

found written with clean magic eraser
on the side of a train bound for the middle
of the desert.

Steady as
the sandstone
swallows you.

from Mon., March 11th

Old friends reminisce,

Same things
Ain't no difference,

Same people
but I'm on a different mission.

When I leave
it won't be you that I'm missin'.

-----

It's like the brightest sunrise
waiting on the other side
of the darkest night.

Only moments from the break of dawn
it seems just out of reach

but you just haven't seen it yet.

-----

Sunshine and
happy vibes
as the water
splashes
against my
sunkissed body.

Once again,
I'm home.

-----

I had a
dream about
you.

But I can't
have you.

from Mon., 3/4

Beep beep beep.
Shut up.
Beep beep beep.
Let me sleep.
Beep beep beep.
I'm tired!

Beep beep beep.
Snooze.

-----

Limbs tangled
like the vines that grow
around our mailbox in summer.

Shared whispers,

Silent giggles,

Couldn't be more complete.

-----

Fear rushes
through me
as I look
in your empty
eyes.

You stole
me and
everything
I had.

from Mon. 2/25

Too much snow.
I wish there was more.
My dad slept in and snored.
While I piled feet of snow on my yard--
around four.

-----

Smothered
like prison bars pressed into skin,

Painted face.

Lying smile.

But you keep coming back....

-----

Skate in the same
direction.
Watch kids eat it.
A middle-aged man reliving
his past.

-----

Tired I am.

Work I do.

Sleep I not.

Customers sucks.

-----

The cold air bites at
my skin,
The snow falls like
a heavy blanket,
the night is white,
the stars are hidden.
